DESCRIPTION:Come have a drink at Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center (KTM&HC)! \nThe 3rd annual fundraiser\, “History on Tap” is a fun and casual evening of beverage tastings\, delicious food\, and live programming! \nUnlimited samples of some of the best locally made alcoholic drinks the state has to offer.  Joining Bergen House are Litchfield Distillery (Litchfield)\, Nod Hill Brewery (Ridgefield)\, Counter Weight Brewing Co. (Cheshire). Pair tastings with delicious gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and sides from local food truck Melt Mobile. \nThe evening will also feature exclusive live discussions: KTM&HC Museum Associate Ish Gupta will explore the historical intersections of taverns and music in the 18th and 19th centuries; and KTM&HC Chief Curator Catherine Prescott and historian Mary Tsaltas-Ottomanelli\, hosts of the popular Taproom Tastings virtual series\, will chat about historic tavern drink trends and lead a historical drink-making demonstration. \nGuests will also have special access to our exhibit #HandsOnHistory: Threading the Needle\, which brings historic textile-making practices to life through activities that encourage visitors to “Please Touch!” \nAll proceeds benefit KTM&HC’s mission-driven work. Tickets are $65 each and include unlimited tastings\, coupons for food\, a limited edition KTM&HC-branded glass\, and access to all programming. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
