DESCRIPTION:January’s artist is “Nora from Moodus”\, and if you missed her on opening night\, you can come meet her at this open house!  Here’s how the artist describes herself: \n“Nora from Moodus”began as a way to share original photo images in the form of wall decor and notecards. \nTo make a long story short\, I discovered that after years of sitting behind a desk\, it is possible to find new ways to grow\, enjoy each day\, and be a part of the larger community. My mentors and friends at the East Haddam Art League and the East Haddam Museum have enriched my life immensely and it is a tribute to their encouragement that I can present my work at Bergen House. \nI am a Connecticut native\, Army veteran\, and graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University. My family roots are traced back to pre-revolutionary times and that is why I remain here in Moodus\, Connecticut. \nMy hope is that Connecticut will continue to attract visitors and promote local businesses. Thank you for your support and interest in my photo images!
